Product Description:

Using dried female adult cochineal worms as raw materials, extracted with water, methanol, and ethanol solutions, and then concentrated, dried, or not dried to produce; Or further chelate and refine with aluminum salts to produce cochineal red aluminum lake.

Physical and chemical properties:

Solubility: cochineal red: easily soluble in water and ethanol;
Cochineal Red Aluminum Lake: soluble in pH 8.5 aqueous solution.
Color characteristics: pH 3~3.5: appears orange yellow; Neutral environment: dark red in color; Alkaline environment (pH>7): purple red to purple in color. Stability: Good light and thermal stability.
